Raphael Healthcare

Raphael Healthcare is an independent sector provider of female low secure mental health services.

The Farndon Unit is a low secure service for women with a diagnosis of mental illness and/or personality disorder, a specialist commissioned service through NHS England.

The company was established with a very clear purpose to develop services which would exceed quality and current standards. This includes providing the best environments, with highly trained and supported staff who can deliver the best package of care to our patients.

Raphael Healthcare continues to work effectively and collaboratively with major stakeholders and commissioners of services. Thus ensuring that we tailor and design our facilities to suit local needs and demands as well as working closely with the NHS, Health and Social Care and Voluntary sector providers.

Our Training Solution

The team at Future Learning have provided various training solutions for Raphael Healthcare at both their Nottinghamshire and Merseyside offices.

Training has included a range of Introductory and Intermediate Microsoft Excel workshops through to dedicated training and support for a new Executive Assistant.

By understanding the exact needs of the people attending the training workshops, Future Learning were able to identify the right Training Associate as well as tailor some of the learning requirements. Although certain elements were identified prior to the training dates, the Training Associates were also able to accommodate ad-hoc and additional training elements on the day.

By working with Microsoft Office specialists, learners benefit from being able to ask questions and fully understand each training element before moving on. They can also accommodate additional questions and time to look at other Microsoft Office applications that can link to each other, for example MS Word and PowerPoint.

"The course was enjoyable, fun and interactive. The trainer was very helpful and went out of his way to make himself available when we got stuck."

Head of Human Resources

“The trainer was a nice guy and attentive to my needs. An intuitive training technique concentrating on my needs rather than a set agenda or list"
